Overview

Tooling that runs, parts that pass audits

Based in Lund, Sweden, Coredeq designs and builds injection molds for hardware teams moving from prototype to volume. We handle mold flow analysis, steel selection, mold making, trial shots, dimensional reports, and the full molded-parts program once the tool qualifies.

Keep the tool with us for ongoing molded part orders, or take ownership and have it shipped to your facility. Parts are produced through our audited European and Asian manufacturing partners, with the complete engineering package: CAD, BOM, steel certificates, and maintenance guides.

Capabilities

What we build

  • Mold flow analysis and DFM review
  • Single, multi-cavity, family, and unscrewing molds
  • P20, NAK80, H13, and stainless tool steels
  • Engineering, food-contact, and medical-grade resins
  • Insert molding and over-molding
  • Trial shots with first-article inspection (FAI)
  • Production runs from 1k to 1M+ pieces
  • Tooling export with full ownership transfer
Process

How a program runs

  1. Design review and mold flow

We review your part and propose tool layout, gating, and cooling. Mold flow analysis is included on every program.

  2. Quote and tool design

You get a fixed-price quote with steel choice, cycle time, and lead time. Tool design is reviewed with you before cutting.

  3. Tool build and trial

Tool is cut and qualified with trial shots. We share parts, dimensional reports, and a tool buy-off package.

  4. Production or tool transfer

Run molded parts with us, or take ownership and ship the tool to your facility with full documentation.

Lead times

Typical lead times

Working days from approved design. Steel grade, cavity count, and finish requirements drive the schedule.

Prototype mold (T1)
4–6 weeks
Production mold
6–10 weeks
First trial shots
+1 week after build
Production runs
2–4 weeks per batch

Mold flow analysis and FAI included as standard. Steel certificates supplied for every tool.

FAQ

Common questions

You always own the tool — it's yours from day one. From there it's your call: keep it with us and we handle your ongoing molded-part production, or have the tool shipped to any facility you choose. No vendor lock-in, ever.
It depends on the steel and the part. P20 tools typically run hundreds of thousands of cycles. H13 and stainless tools run into the millions. We size the tool to your projected volume and lifetime.
Yes. Insert molding, over-molding, and two-shot tooling are all part of what we deliver. Tell us about the substrate and overmold material early so we can plan the tool architecture.
Engineering thermoplastics (ABS, PC, PA, POM, PBT, PEEK), commodity resins (PP, PE, PS), and elastomers (TPE, TPU, silicone via LSR). Food-contact and medical-grade resins are available with appropriate documentation.
When the design is validated and the volume justifies it. Most teams start tooling once they have run 50–500 prototypes and confirmed the mechanical, ergonomic, and regulatory requirements.
