STEP, IGES, STL, native SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, and most other formats. If you only have a 2D drawing or sketch, send it along: we can quote from PDFs and dimensioned drawings as well.

We use CNC machining for production-grade plastics and metals, 3D printing (FDM, SLA, SLS, MJF) for fast iteration, vacuum casting for short-run polyurethane parts, sheet metal fabrication for enclosures and brackets, and PCB assembly. We select the method that best matches your design intent and schedule.

What is the minimum order quantity for prototypes?

For prototypes there is no MOQ. We routinely produce single parts, small validation batches of 5–50 units, and bridge production runs before tooling.

Companies typically move from prototyping to production once the design has been validated and the product requirements are stable. At this stage, manufacturing methods such as injection molding, die casting, or volume PCB assembly become more suitable than rapid prototyping methods.

There is no fixed minimum, but volume manufacturing typically makes economic sense above a few thousand units per year. For lower volumes we recommend our rapid prototyping or low-volume bridge production routes.

Both options work. We can fully source from our vetted supplier network, run a consigned model where you supply parts, or split the BOM between the two. We will recommend the lowest-risk approach based on availability.

Yes. Our SMT lines handle 0201 passives, fine-pitch BGAs, QFNs, and 0.4 mm pitch packages. X-ray inspection is included for BGA and bottom-terminated components.

It depends on the steel and the part. P20 tools typically run hundreds of thousands of cycles. H13 and stainless tools run into the millions. We size the tool to your projected volume and lifetime.
